CAROLINA RAPTOR CENTER
posted: 12. 26. 13 I'm getting ready to mail my first package of artworks to sell at the Carolina Raptor Center in Huntersville, NC. I enjoyed doing a few new designs for their gift shop, including the long-eared owl below, and will add more periodically. 
FOUR DOGS
posted: 12. 21. 13 There's a new pet supply store in NoDa called Four Dogs and they are offering a selection of animal art by local and regional artists such as Susan Plante, Rosalia, and myself. They're right near Will Puckett's Matheson bridge mural about a block from Amelie's. If you have pets, or enjoy animal art, check them out the next time you're in the hood.

ALTERED REALITY
posted: 11. 19. 13 Culture Initiative's five year anniversary show, Altered Reality, opens November 30, 8pm at the newly revamped Neighborhood Theatre. The show will feature thrift store art and other objects transformed and given new life by local artists. 
BIRD OF PARADISE EXHIBIT
posted: 11. 07. 13 Birds of Paradise: Amazing Avian Evolution is a special exhibit currently on display at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences Museum in Raleigh, NC. My own take on the birds of paradise, seen below, will be available soon in print form in the exhibition gift shop. 
GREENHILL WINTER SHOW
posted: 11. 06. 13 I'm pleased to be among more than 120 artists chosen for the annual Greenhill Winter Show, at the Greenhill arts center in Greensboro, NC. Tickets are available for the Collectors Choice Fundraiser on December 7, which allows art collectors a first look and opportunity to buy before the public opening.

DECO RALEIGH
posted: 10. 20. 13 I now have a selection of prints for sale at DECO Raleigh, which features more than 60 local artisans' work: pottery, prints, cards, jewelry, textiles and the best local t-shirts. They aim to offer fresh and diverse perspectives with affordable prices and an ever-changing selection, and they're open for First Friday and other events.

Curioos sells fine art prints from a select stable of talented artists, and it's great to be included among them. Additionally, Curioos has made one of my designs available as a tee shirt through one of their retail partners, Monsieur TSHIRT.

I just dropped off a selection of prints and originals and I'm happy to be among the diverse group of over 55 local artists represented there.

HELP DISAPPEARING FROGS
posted: 08. 12. 13 Artist Terry Thirion is heading an ambitious effort on behalf of the world's threatened frog species. The Disappearing Frogs Project will be a traveling multimedia art installation highlighting the perils these amphibians face in today's changing environments. posted: 07. 22. 13 I just sent off a package of prints featuring bees and hummingbirds to Follow The Honey in Harvard Square, and I'm very happy to have a presence in this unique venue, where visitors can sample honey from all over the world, enjoy the in-store hive, and browse a variety of "sweet" gifts.

They recently moved into a new, larger location at 1212 The Plaza, Charlotte, NC, the former Queens Gallery, and have expanded their inventory. I currently have a selection of prints on panel for sale, including the pieces below (except the elephants, which were recently adopted).

IMAGINON SCULPTURE INSTALLATION
posted: 05. 20. 13 The large prehistoric sea monster below has found a new home at the ImaginOn. Artist Erich Moffitt and I collaborated on the sculpture of the extinct plesiosaur Liopleurodon for our Megafauna show at Genome Gallery in summer 2012. Also on display at ImaginOn is another collaboration from the same show, the painting Adam Names The Animals. 
YOGA FOR LIFE SHOW
posted: 05. 19. 13 I recently installed an exhibit of works at Yoga For Life. "A Peaceable Kingdom," featuring prints and paintings of life forms, will be up through June, with an artist reception on June 11. More info here. 
THE COWFISH, RALEIGH IS OPEN
updated: 04. 15. 13 The Cowfish's new location in Raleigh, NC, is now open and serving some of the best sushis and burgers in town. I was commissioned to do all of the wall art, which is part of their fun and wacky decor.

CAROLINA'S GOT ART RETURNS
posted: 04. 08. 13 I'm honored to have a piece included in the 2013 edition of Carolina's Got Art. CGA is a juried exhibition open to North and South Carolina artists. This year it will take place at Elder Gallery and the grand opening is May 3, 6pm - 9pm. 
BIRDSONG BREWERY SHOW
posted: 03. 27. 13 I will be showing artworks with Tim Scheaffer at the Birdsong Brewing taproom through April. We are having an opening with an opportunity to meet the artists (me and Tim) April 4 from 6 - 9 pm. I'll be showing a selection of bird design prints, and Tim will be showcasing his latest series of railroad inspired paintings.

MUSEUM OF NATURAL SCIENCES
posted: 03. 31. 13 I'm very pleased to have artworks for sale at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences Museum Store in Raleigh, NC. The store is located near the main entrance of the museum and both the store and museum are free to visit. The works I'll be showing there will feature mainly animals endemic to the region, or otherwise featured in the museum exhibits. 
ALTERNATE NATIONAL SYMBOLS SERIES A - Z
posted: 02. 19. 13 This is a series of alternate United States symbols presented on US currency. After being shown at Studio K Gallery the series has been gradually reintroduced into circulation, with the exception of several pieces available at Gallery Twenty Two. 
CHAPEL HILL JURIED EXHIBITION SERIES
posted: 02. 18. 13 I'm happy to be included in the Chapel Hill Juried Exhibition Series beginning March 1 and continuing through April. I'll be showing work alongside talented artists Lucartha Kohler and Jamie Spinello. An online inventory of my own work can be seen here. 
1900 GETS NEW LOGO
posted: 02. 18. 13 I was hired to create an updated logo set for 1900 Mexican Grill. The new branding should begin to appear on 1900's signage and marketing materials this spring. 
RALEIGH COWFISH
updated: 02. 18. 13 I'm in the process of making artwork for The Cowfish's new location in Raleigh, NC, scheduled to open in 2013. Some of the new work can currently be seen at the Southpark location in Charlotte.
