LOST PAINTING RECOVERED updated: 02. 09. 17 I ran into a couple at Birdsong Brewing tonight who had happened upon one of my old paintings in the attic of their house. After doing some research, they identified the artist, but years went by before they met me and told me how the painting had mysteriously turned up. Naturally I was fascinated and happy to hear that they like the piece much more (apparently) than the previous owner and consider it a fortuituous addition to their art collection.

RUSSIANS INVOLVED IN HACK posted: 01. 13. 17 I found these cute needleworks online recently based on one of my chickadee images:
The design was posted on a Russian site offering needlework patterns, and labeled "круглые воробушки", which translates to "round sparrows". The Russian word for chickadee is "sinitsa-gaichka."
